I've spent over eight years working within my family's wholesale jewellery business, supplying the jewellery trade with loose diamonds, coloured gemstones and finished jewellery.

That meant working day to day with retail jewellers, dealers, manufacturers and working bench jewellers — sourcing stones, matching layouts, assessing quality and understanding how jewellery moves through the trade before it ever reaches a retail showroom.

It made me realise that the knowledge and access I'd spent years providing to the trade could offer something valuable directly to private clients.

That's why I founded LA The Jeweller — to combine that trade experience with a genuinely personal service.

Today, I personally guide every project from the first conversation through to the finished piece, using my experience within the trade to help clients understand where their budget is best spent.

Whether that means choosing a better diamond, refining a design or simply achieving better value, the aim is always the same: to create the right piece for you, rather than simply sell what's available.
